The band fun. (spelled with the lowercase f and the period) has an album due out next year through Fueled By Ramen, and this is our first glimpse into their new work. The clip takes you in the studio with fun. and producerJeff Bhasker, who is responsible for “Lift Off” from Watch The Throne and has also worked with artists like Kid Cudi and Alicia Keys. In the video, Jeff calls frontman Nate Ruess one of the best songwriters he’s ever worked with.
fun. also just announced a college tour with Janelle Monae, who collaborated with the band on their new album. Here the the tour dates that have been announced so far:
October 1 – University of Rochester
October 2 – Cornell University
October 3 – Clark University
October 7 – Mercer University
October 15 – Indiana University
October 18 – Ohio University
October 20 – University of Maine
